New Goodwill Donation Center

A Goodwill drive through donation center just opened. The center is conveniently located at the corner of Tharpe Street and Old Bainbridge Road. And if you donate there--you can enter to win a scooter. Goodwill says its donations provide employment and affordable necessities for the community.

Brooke Lochure, a Goodwill spokesperson said, "The important thing to remember is, when you donate to Goodwill, you're helping out in so many ways. Helping people find jobs, you're helping people keep jobs, and you're helping out our landfills. So think about Goodwill when it's time to get rid of something."

In addition to four other collection locations, the new Goodwill center is open all week long from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
