The Florida High Lady Noles and the Leon High Lady Lions played for breast cancer awareness, but neither forgot their competitive edge. The official Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event will benefit a breast cancer walk and spread hope for cancer victims.
Gail Stansberry-Ziffer, with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer said, "It touches everyone, not just women, but family, friends, loved ones and that's what's great here--to see young women come together to help support the cure."
The Lady Noles ended up winning in three straight sets, but win or lose--the event will help put on the Walk to Save Lives at the Southwood Town Center beginning at 12:30 this Saturday afternoon.
