Veterans are speaking out for John McCain including some of his fellow P.O.W.s who stopped in Tallahassee Tuesday afternoon. They're were riding along in the Veteran Victory 2008 Bus Tour, which is traveling all over Florida.
The bus arrived at the state's Republican Headquarters around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. McCain's friends spoke in great length about his courageous spirit and character. They say it's his experience and personality that makes him ready to lead the country.
Tom Moe, a retired Colonel and former P.O.W. said, "John McCain didn't just fall off the cabbage cart and decide he was just going to run for president. And when he says something, he's a man of his word. And when he says it to you and says it to me--he means it because of his character. And you can count on it when we elect him on November 4Th."
