I-10 Changes and Progress

I-10 is moving along big-time, especially with massive 85 ton girders that have been going up all week long. At night, workers have been setting up the new fly over from Capital Circle Northeast to I-10 West Bound. Also, a new I-10 west bound bridge going over Thomasville Road has been completed.

Tony Manos, with Reynolds, Smith and Hills Construction said, "We appreciate the patients of the folks here in Tallahassee. We're going to be switching traffic Thursday night to go ahead and move people off the detour West bound and put them on to the new west bound bridge."

The entire Thomasville/ Capital Circle Northeast Interchange project is set to be completed by the beginning of 2009.
