The Tallahassee Fire Department and the Bradfordville Volunteer Fire Department stopped a fire from spreading beyond the laundry room of a home off County Road 12.

However--a nearby shed went up in flames and burned to the ground. The homeowner, Carrie Dicky, was inside when the blaze started shortly before 2:00 p.m. "I heard a lot of noise, so I went running to the other window and looked out the window and I saw fire and then I went running out and got the water hose to try and out it, but I couldn't. So then I went in and called 911." said Dickey.

Investigators say the fire could have been caused by a faulty
washing machine. They say there was about 30 to 35-thousand dollars worth of damage and that the homeowner does have insurance.
