A Tallahassee man who stopped a robbery gives meaning to the term--"neighborhood watch." Joe Byers was awarded Tuesday night for his bravery, but says he doesn't deserve it. Earlier this month--Byers helped Tallahassee Police catch a 30 year old man and a 13 year old boy who tryed to break into his neighbor's house. He called the police as soon as he saw what was happening and identified the suspects when they were caught moments later.

"They were hurrying up my neighbor's driveway in a very sneaky kind of way and the next thing I knew, they had gone behind her house and were trying to break into her house, so I couldn't believe it." said Byers.

Byers was honored Tuesday night at a neighborhood watch meeting at Optimistic Park.
