McLean Park Fall Festival

Halloween is already off to a screaming start with a huge trick or treat fall festival held for some local kids Wednesday night. And although the children had to stay inside--they were having way more fun than if they were outside. The kids had all the junk food and scary costumes they could handle at the Jack McLean Park gymnasium.

The Tallahassee Police Department partnered with City Parks and Recreation to keep kids safe--while still showing them a good time. Phyllis Bush, an event coordinator said, "Keeps the parents from driving and walking around neighborhoods. They get free candy and we scare them a little bit. Give them free popcorn and then they can go home, take a bath and go to bed!"

Two of the most important Halloween safety tips from T-P-D: trick-or-treat before dark and never go alone.
