Florida State University and others are spending the week getting the word out about the dangers of alcohol in some interesting ways. Monday, resident assistants sat in dormitory elevators on campus and quizzed students on alcohol related questions all the way to their floor.
Later in the evening, parents shared stories about driving drunk--including a mother whose son was killed by a drunk driver. We spoke with F.S.U. student Brandon Antoskow, who shared his own run-in with a D.U.I.
"Taking the lessons I have learned now and applying them to my life then, who knows where I would be, but I can tell you that it's definitely something that impacted my life, and I feel compelled to tell other students about it, so hopefully they won't make the same mistakes." said Antoskow.
Wednesday, Alcohol Awareness Week will continue with pretend Drunk Bowling, where students will wear "fatal vision" glasses while taking to the lanes.
