Upcoming Town Hall Meeting On Proposed Biomass Plant

The Council of Neighborhood Associations will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 1st at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center at 2344 Lake Bradford Road.

The proposed gas and electric plant would be built in the South Side of Tallahassee and would convert wood waste into gas.

The meeting will feature a panel with members from FSU, the Environmental Protection Agency and other experts in this subject.

Residents will be able to take part in a Q&A session too.

    The CONA pro-biomass facility meeting Monday, Dec 1 at 6 PM will present a panel in favor of the biomass facility. Biomass opponents will meet at 6:30 PM Monday, Dec 1 at the Amtrak Building on Railroad Ave, at a meeting organized by Comm Bill Proctor.
