Black Friday has come and gone, and people are still doing some mad dash shopping, but not like the K-Mc Sports Foundation. For the charity's 7th annual Christmas Shopping Drive--the foundation's shoppers went on a shopping spree for underprivileged children at Target and The Sports Authority.
Sam and Tina Mcelhenny who started the foundation in honor of their late son, Kris--say they will be spending between $3,000 to $5,000 on toys this year.
Tina McElhenny, who is Vice President of the foundation said, "There's a lot of kids that you want to help. Whether, you know, it's one item or two or three--you just want to give back. You know, we got Santa here and we want to make sure that kids have a good time at Christmas."
The K-Mc Sports Foundation says it raises money every year for the Christmas drive through fund raisers. If you would like to contribute to the Christmas Drive, just click the convenient link below or email the K-Mc Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
