For Leon High School--their pride of being a Lion goes back decades--now a teacher there has written a book about it. It's called "The Lion's Pride;A Pictorial and Anecdotal History of Leon High School," by Doctor Linda Teague and tonight, the former Leon student signed copies of it at Barnes and Noble. She currently teaches in the same classroom her grandmother taught in 45 years ago. The book showcases more than 100 years history at Leon with stories from those graduating as early as 1922.

Doctor Teague says a great deal of work went into putting the book together with the help of friends and staff members--conducting interviews to digging for old photos. "It takes Leon from it's very beginning to 2008 and it's not only a history of Leon, but of Tallahassee." said Teague.
