All this week we are featuring families in need who are counting on the Christmas Connection for a brighter holiday.
There are more than 600 families and today we want to introduce you to a Madison County family whose medical bills make Christmas gifts a tall order.
The young couple has two children and is expecting a third. Their two year old daughter has sickle cell anemia and battling that disease has taken quite a toll on their family finances.
Topping their wish list: food, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
They need a crib, blankets, bottles, diapers and all kinds of baby supplies for a baby girl on the way.
The children need clothes, and they would love some toys under the tree.
The two year old girl would like a baby doll, the three year old boy would like a bike with training wheels, and the parents would like a king size comforter for their bed.
If you can help this family or any other, please take your donation to the Christmas Connection, 3954 West Pensacola Street, or call 850-575-TREE to see how you can help.
