Lieutenant Rusty Roberts and Lieutenant Brad Deanda were awarded the Firemark Award from Liberty Mutual. The fire department says Lieutenant Deanda was honored for helping a flooded neighborhood during Tropical Storm Fay for 17 hours.

Lieutenant Roberts was given the Community Service award for organizing a local Children's Burn Camp--Camp Amigo. We had a chance to catch up with Lieutenant Roberts Tuesday afternoon.

"I feel kind of humbled cause I'm just the one that kind of organizes things and there's a great many people that are involved--Tallahassee Fire Department and all around the state that make the event happen." said Roberts.

The Tallahassee Fire Department says the Firemark Award has been around since 1986--recognizing firefighters across the country.
