Delta's intrastate flight service in Tallahassee may return from its departure, but only if a new deal goes through. Tallahassee mayor John Marks says Delta may consider providing local turbo-prop flight services to Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando.
However, Delta would require a $2,000,000 revenue guarantee. Leon County says it has agreed to provide 500-thousand dollars toward the contract.
Both the city and the county will look to the state for more funding. If the deal goes through--officials say the service could be available as early as April.
