Monday evening the Council of Neighborhood Associations, the City of Tallahassee and other partners held a forum for those looking to create a change through positive experiences in their neighborhood. Organizers say the different approach involves storytelling and dialog between residents--a process they're are calling "Appreciative Inquiry."
Jack Gant, Ph.D., an event presenter said, "We're going to look at; what is it that's going well in this city? What do we appreciate about this city? And out of that, the energy will come for us to decide what else do we want to do in our neighborhoods."
CONA hopes to continue spreading the message by talking to other neighborhood leaders over the next two weeks.
