5th Annual Celebrity Comic Challenge Brings the Laughs

Tallahassee, FL -- May 17, 2012 --

The 5th Annual Celebrity Comic Challenge featured ten local celebrities stepping out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight as they perform 5-8 minute stand-up comedy routines at the 5th Avenue Tap Room. This years lineup included:

Scott Atwell, FSU Alumni Association

Dale Brill, Florida Chamber Foundation

Bill Cotterell, Tallahassee Democrat (Retired)

Eric Eggers, 100.7 Morning Show (Former)

Allie Fleming, Good Friends Group Fitness

Nate Harrington, WCTV

Darryl Jones, Bethel Community Development

Nick Maddox, Leon County Commission

Rick Minor, City of Tallahassee Mayor's Office

Eric Thorn, Partners in Association Management

Hosted by County Administrator Vince Long

The audience decided to crown Nick Maddox as the Celebrity Comic Champion.

Proceeds from the event benefit the educational programs of the Challenger Learning Center.
