A new study released Tuesday seeks to find out why people love where they live.
The Gallup study found that a city's economy is not the most important factor in attracting and keeping people in town.
Instead, the city's physical beauty, social areas, and openness to different cultures was found to be most important.
The survey found that Tallahassee is attractive because it's making great strides in bringing in more cultural venues.
Tallahassee Resident of 25 Years, Pat Mixon says, "I love the trees, the people are friendly, the downtown is fun, there's a lot that goes on in the community, you've got football, a lot of athletic events, it's just a wonderful place to raise children and have a family and grow up."
Tallahassee was one of 26 cities that were studied.
