The Big Bend Homeless Coalition is hosting its 'Thanksgiving Together' feast to ensure that no one in the Capital City spends Thanksgiving alone.
In years' past, it was held at a restaurant, but this Thursday 11-26 it will be held at the Hope Community at 2729 West Pensacola Street.
They expect to feed around 1,500 people.
Food Service Manager Matrell Hawkins says, "Everybody in the community really does care about each other. The holiday times are the times that people come together and the fact that you want to extend your hand to others and make them feel like they're part of the whole Tallahassee family, that's something great to do."
The feast will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be shuttles provided. These buses will depart from Lake Ella and The Shelter at about 10:45 a.m
