At Camp Bark-ly, kids get to spend quality time with animals for some higher pet education. The camp is all week long and campers will learn what it really takes to be a great animal care giver.
Animal care professionals stopped by Camp Bark-ly this morning with some pups. The dogs showed off both basic skills and show dog quality skills. This is just one way the children learn about different animals and the best way to treat them.
Camp Counselor, Megan Milla says, "You learn mostly how to act around animals, especially dogs. Some of the new things we've added is foster kittens, horses even, we even had a goat." The kids will also be doing volunteer work. Camp Bark-ly says helping animals is helping people.
