He's issuing a call to men to end the cycle of domestic violence. Tony Porter, co-founder of "A Call to Men," the national association committed to ending violence against women, is taking his message to college campuses, speaking to students at FAMU and challenging young men to reconsider their beliefs about women.
Porter is encouraging men to take a stand on the front lines of ending domestic violence.
"Prevention, that's where we are at now. Men are being held accountable. We see that and that is a good thing, but the rates of violence that women are experiencing is not declining, so we haven't reached a solution, and in order to prevent violence men have to become a part of the equation," added Porter.
