CITY OF TALLAHASSEE NEWS RELEASE:
One of the most exciting annual events for Tallahassee children takes place Easter Sunday. The City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs (PRNA) Department will hold the 51st Annual Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday, April 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Myers Park, located at 913 Myers Park Drive.
Kids are invited to bring their parents, baskets and egg-hunting shoes for a fun-filled afternoon in the park. Children 10 and under are invited to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt and will be separated into five age groups – 2 and under, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years old. Parents will only be allowed in the areas designated for the 4 and under groups.
Games, rides, arts and crafts, music and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny will begin at 1 p.m. The hunt will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free! Please call PRNA at 891-3855 for more information on the Myers Park Easter Egg Hunt
