FAMU's eighth annual Grape Harvest Festival is taking place today.

The festival is designed to increase public awareness about research of the Muscadine grape.

Planned events include grape tasting, home wine making tips and the popular grape-stomping competition.

The festival lasts until 3 p.m., so you have plenty of time to get out to the FAMU Center of Viticulture and Small Fruit Research, located at 6505 Mahan Drive in Tallahassee.
