The Capital City Garden Club is hosting its annual flower show Saturday May 22nd at the Smith-Williams Service Center in Tallahassee, Florida. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 9a.m. and the show will be open to all until 3 o'clock p.m.
This year's theme is "Showcasing Nature's Best" and will feature at least 75 exhibits with everything from cut flowers to large, leafy plants.
Two special ribbons will also be awarded, one of which will be given for the best entry in the show. Community members interested in submitting an exhibit can do so on Friday, May 21st, beginning at 9am.
There is no cost to attend the show. The garden club just wants the community to come out and enjoy the beautiful blooms.
Door prizes will also be given out and a number of workshops will take place.
