Press Release: City of Tallahassee
With the weather getting warmer and warmer, StarMetro wants to keep its customers cool. This Friday, May 31, visitors to C.K. Steele Plaza are in for a treat – a refreshing, free treat! Free snow cones in a variety of fun flavors will be handed out from 4-6 p.m. as a way for the transit agency to show its appreciation to riders. Each snow cone will even come in its own stadium cup!
“StarMetro is committed to providing superior customer service – from the moment you begin your walk to the bus stop to when you arrive safely at your destination,” Mayor John Marks said. “Treating customers to a cool treat on a hot day is yet another way for us to show patrons that we appreciate them choosing StarMetro.”
You don’t have to be a StarMetro rider though to take advantage of this cool treat. The public is invited to come and learn more about how StarMetro can help with their travels.
