Students at Bond Elementary School cooked-off, hoping to be the "Next Food TV Star".
It was part of the school's 21st century summer enrichment program finale.
Three groups of kids prepared their best dishes.
This included pizza bagels, a chicken wrap and a parfait ... and the kids behind them had no qualms about promoting their creation.
"Bagel pizzas have healthy things in them," said Courtney Powel.
"It's healthy and it's nutritious," Marc Black also said of the pizza bagels.
"I think I'm the best and I'm going to win this contest," Andrew Bleechington said.
Our very own Jill Chandler was among the judges.
The competition was close, but in the end, the the chunky chicken wrap won.
