Boo! Enjoy Halloween Fun with City of Tallahassee Activities Tonight

Tallahassee, FL - We Witch You a Happy Halloween!
Parks Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Hosts Several Family-Friendly Events on October 31st! Don't be a scaredy cat this Hallo-scream!

Join the City of Tallahassee's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs (PRNA) department on Wednesday, October 31, as they host several spooktacular events for ghouls and goblins of all ages.

"Several of our community centers will be open and celebrating the frightfully fun holiday with candy carnivals, costume contests and haunted houses," said Dee Crumpler, director of PRNA. "Our community centers provide children, dressed up in both scary and sweet costumes, with a safe environment to enjoy the night."

Community Centers offering beary, scary festivities include:
Jack McLean, located at 700 Paul Russell Road, 891-2505
Lawrence-Gregory, located at 115 Dade Street, 891-3910
Walker-Ford, located at 2301 Pasco Street, 891-3970

Most festivities begin at 6 p.m. with candy carnivals, while the haunted houses begin an hour later. During the night, refreshments, such as spider cider and popcorn, will be provided. Other activities include, frightening face painting and live entertainment. All events wrap-up like a mummy by 9 p.m.

For ghouls and goblins under the age of four, the Walker-Ford Center Community Center will host a carnival earlier in the day from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
These events are free to the public.
