Tallahassee, FL – July 10, 2013

The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Council on Culture & Arts (“COCA”) has accepted the resignation of COCA Executive Director, Peggy Brady, effective October 1, 2013.

“It has been a great honor for me to serve as Executive Director” Brady said. “I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with dedicated COCA staff and Board members and the talented professionals that make up our arts and cultural community.”

Ms. Brady will be embarking on a new phase in her professional theatre life.

COCA Chair, Kay Stephenson, stated that a committee will be formed to review next steps in the transition process. “We want to thank Peggy for her long term leadership, vision and positive impact on this community and wish her well in her future endeavors. We also look forward to continuing COCA’s long tradition toward building and advocating on behalf of a strong and vibrant cultural community.”

COCA is committed to promoting arts and culture in all its forms, and through its programs, seeks ways to promote the area's diverse range of artists, cultural events and traditions.
