News Release: City of Tallahassee
Tallahassee, Fla. -- Tuesday, March 4, is Mardi Gras, and the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center (ASC) is letting the good times roll by offering waived adoption fees on all animals. Lots of furry friends are waiting to join your krewe for the Fat Tuesday festivities and continue living the high life with you at home.
While you won’t get any beads, adoptions do include vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, a small bag of food, adoption packet, collar, tag and spay or neuter surgery.
The Animal Service Center, located adjacent to Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive, is operated and maintained by the City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department. For more information on the ASC and to view animals that are currently available for adoption, please visit Talgov.com/animals.
