Tallahassee, FL - This Saturday, October 9th is the Annual Chaire’s Community Fall Festival from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. We will have Food, Games, Inflatable’s, and a Silent Auction.

We are very excited because this year is our first Fall Festival Art Show. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have been working hard on their lovely ceramic pinch pots. They have also been studying about service and charity. Chaires Students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are all giving back to the community and helping people in need by donating their pinch pots to “America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend (ASHBB)”, Empty Bowl Banquet. The 5th Annual Empty Bowl Banquet will be held Saturday, October 23rd from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm in Kleman Plaza.

At the fall Festival we will be showing the pots in the Cafeteria, with each class having one table. Parents will be able to “buy” their child’s pot with all the funds going to ASHBB. There is no set price, just donate what amount you feel is right.
