The 4-H'ers at Colquitt County High have raised their flag just below Old Glory in honor of the nationally designated week.
The club's faculty coordinators say 4-H not only opens doors for members, but also offers a source of inspiration and support for them when it comes time to choose a career.
The 4-H club, which stands for "head, heart, hands, and health," is a national organization that gets kids involved in the community from as early as elementary school.
The club strives to develop strong leadership and life skills in its members so when they graduate from high school they can prosper and give back.
4-H Week runs until Friday, 10/8.
Colquitt High School's 4-H Club will be hosting special events at the high school throughout the week.
