Hwy 20 is the only route for the working class west of Tallahassee. Leon Co does not care about us as they allow all the sand pits, city electrical plant, etc to locate out here. Look @ the CC & P-cola intersection - pitch black @ night. Won't find that anywhere else but on the west side. How many lives will it take B4 Leon Co will do something? No we are not Killearn or Southwood -we work hard for our living!

Highway 20 or STATE ROAD 20 is just that, a state road maintained by the STATE. County Commisioners don't have jack to say about that road. Dog and pony show as usual. Plus, election year is coming up. You can bet all the big wigs are going to show up with their "concerns".

Amen, I have been saying that since the meeting was planned. It is a STATE issue not a local one obviously by the enforcement we get out here.

I hope they discuss the fact that the ambulance out there is always be moved in town to cover the city. Why not put a paramedic at the fire station and then there is always one out there.

You can't four lane stupid. While a four lane would be nice more aggresive traffic enforcement would be more effective...

The same people commenting about danger are the same people that live out there and speed like NASCAR. The same ones that flash their lights when they see cops. The same ones who will just drive 20MPH faster if it becomes 4 lanes.

Wow you obviously dont have a clue! We are the one who want something to be done for saftely... Just because we live out highway 20 doesnt mean we all drive that way! Be considerate to others and dont pass judgement on all the people that live out there.

Nothing is wrong with the road. It's the idiot drivers. Learn to use turn signals. Remember it's 50-55 mph, meaning don't pull out in front of someone and do 30 mph. Pull off the road slightly when turning, this way the highway speed traffic doesn't have to come to a screaming halt. Basically, learn to drive. It's an amazing little thing.

I want to make sure I attend this meeting to make sure Dollar General will still be built on Hwy 20 and Williams Landing. I hope I get hired there. I hear they pay good.

Hwy.20 needs to be 4 laned. This should have been done 20 years ago. There has been far too many accidents, injuries and DEATHS due to this antiquidated highway. If commissioners have 2 and a half million dollars to spend on a new site for the fairgrounds, they certainly have enough to do something really important for the people who must use this hwy.

like you, I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING ON THIS SITE for at least A YEAR. I don't live on 20 but have worked on it for years. It also needs turning lanes badly.
