City of Tallahassee Press Release
The City of Tallahassee is enhancing its Neighborhood REACH program with a new fire safety feature, showcased at a kickoff event for the Jake Gaither community Saturday, August 24 at 11:30 a.m.
The enhanced program will not only help City Utility customers save energy, water and money but will help prevent devastating and costly home fires.
Federal grant funding enables the City to offer fire safety instruction as well, while providing REACH participants with up to two smoke alarms and one fire extinguisher per residence.
The entire community is invited to attend at 11:30 at the Jake Gaither Community Center, 801 Bragg Drive.
