Tom Brown Park in Tallahassee could soon be a place where those who serve our country are remembered.
There are plans in the works to bring a large replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall to be displayed there for a week in November.
The replica is approximately 80% of the size of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in DC.
The 80,000 sq ft outdoor display will honor those who fought for our country in Vietnam.
It's known as the Cost of Freedom Tribute, and a committee is trying to bring this educational and patriotic display to Tallahassee.
The committee will meet tonight to discuss the measure it will take to bring it to this area.
The committee needs volunteers to reach out and gather community support.
The City of Tallahassee Parks & Recreation is partnering with Vet Events Tally to prepare the site for the arrival of the Tribute in early November.
