When another event will occur that is sure to be fun.
The Tallahassee Senior Center will twinkle like a holiday gem.
Deck the Halls & A Celebration of Wreaths begins at 6:30 p.m.
Jazz up your holidays with a beverage and fine food in your hand.
Providing enchantment will be The Deborah Lawson Band.
The lights, wreaths and tinsel, there's so much to see.
A big thanks is due to Shining Star sponsor CHP.
Our generous donors and sponsors have cheer to spare,
Come view their creations made with love and care.
Wreaths of brightly colored blossoms pop,
Standing out among the seasonal crop.
For acquaintances who sometimes don a yarmulke,
You'll find a nice one draped in the blues of Chanukah.
If, instead, your friend prefers a Christmas tree,
There's a red, gold and green one all decked out in glee.
Hundreds of wreaths are on display now,
Don't wait to Dec. 3 to claim your holly and bough.
You can place an early bid and hope to win your prize,
Or buy it now to give to a loved one as a holiday surprise.
More excitement draws near with the silent auction,
Browse the tables while drinking a tasty concoction.
Baubles and sparkles will be up for grabs,
The ladies would love these, take note, lads.
Or maybe you would prefer a trip to a faraway place
The beach or the desert; you'll need to pack a suitcase.
