Tallahassee, FL - There are more than 22,000 people with developmental disabilities on a waiting list for services in Florida. The Agency for Persons with Disabilities is holding a series of Town Hall Meetings across the state to talk about reducing that waiting list and improving service.
About three dozen people turned out for this afternoon's question and answer session in Tallahassee.
ADP got 36 million dollars in funding to help move people off the waiting list this year. It's focusing on nearly 3,000 people who need intensive services. ADP got the mix of federal and state money July first.
