Due South Music Festival Set for Friday in Thomasville

For the bluegrass, southern food and Americana fans in the area, it's time to head Due South!

Friday night, April 20th in Thomasville, the Due South art, food, and music festival will be held downtown on West Remington Avenue. Fans can expect disctinct southern cuisine and some bluegrass tunes from The New 76-ers out of Tallahassee and the Blue Dogs from Charleston, SC.

"This is our first year having the concert in Thomasville. It's southern, it's downtown, we're brining in two great bands...people can enjoyr a great night of music with their friends. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair for something to sit on," said Bonnie Hayes of the Thomasville Center for the Arts.

If you want tickets, go to the Thomasville Center for the Arts website at www.thomasvillearts.org.
