Tallahassee, FL - Officials and members of the community meet to talk about the economic developments in the city of Tallahassee.
The Economic Club of Florida hosted a forum at the Civic Center Thursday. City and county leaders were also in attendance to talk about future projects including housing near Doak Campbell Stadium as well as a new Whole Foods that will open in 2014 off Thomasville Road.
The club spoke about both public and private entities working together to expand the city.
"We've called upon governmental resources but at the same time we're talking in terms of the business interests of the community itself," said Bill Gunter chairman of the Economic Club of Florida.
The forum also let members of the community ask questions about upcoming projects. Almost 200 people attended the event.
