Tallahassee, FL - Florida A&M University (FAMU) will host a Digital Video Conference on Thursday, November 18 at 8 p.m. at the Coleman Library, Room 104.
This briefing will offer students interested in careers in the U.S. Foreign Service a unique opportunity to gain insight into day-to-day operations at a major American Embassy, the wealth of options in Foreign Service careers, the role of the U.S. State Department and other foreign affairs agencies in our country's overall governmental operations.
The Honorable Eric G. John, American ambassador to Thailand, will be a part of the conference.
"This is an opportunity the students interested in foreign affairs careers do not want to miss,” said FAMU Diplomat-in-Residence Jay Smith. “We are very lucky that it has come our way. It will likely be a long time before we have another sitting ambassador and his country team willing to make a virtual visit to our campus."
Seating is limited, and guests are encouraged to arrive early. For additional information, contact Smith at (850) 345-2469 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
