Farm Share has too much food...and not enough room!
Although it seems like a good problem to have, the organization might have to turn down truckloads of food coming in this week.
FarmShare is working to allievate hunger and malnutrition in the area.
It helps feed thousands of families each year. But the organization can not get enough churches and non-profits to pick up and distribute it to the people in need.
Patricia Robbins, Farm Share: "Unless we can move these loads we are going to have to say no. I really don't want to ever say no to a donor who is giving us food, so our push now is to get the word out to our churches are soup kitchens."
The organization even has four tractor trailers worth of carseats.
They have 26,000 senior meals and no one to give it too.
The organizations is calling on truck sponsors to deliver the food.
