You've probably noticed the big water tower off I-10 proudly welcoming folks to Tallahasee. But you've never seen it like this.
Tallahassee Firefighters had a training session today 125 feet above the ground.
They used the water tower to simulate a rescue effort for workers who are injured or stuck in high places.
The fire department's Urban Search and Rescue team has used these skills to rescue people stuck on cell towers, water towers, and in other high and hard to reach places.
The guys at the top of the water tower were for real, the pour soul being lowered in that basket was a mannequin.
