Firehouse Subs recently launched its "Round Up" program which gives customers the option to round their bill up to the nearest dollar and have the leftover money taken as a donation.

First responders in Thomas County say 'every little bit helps' when it comes to extending disaster relief for as long as possible.

Says Thomas County First Responder Chris Jones, "In times of disaster, there's a lot of money that goes in to overtime, additional fuel expenses. You have a lot of wear and tear on your vehicles so it's beneficial to have additional funds at those times."

Catastrophe experts estimate the tornadoes that ripped through the southeast late last month left between three and five BILLION dollars in insured damages.
