Health officials say starting February 15 (2011), the shot will be available for $15 in all 14 health departments of the Southwest Georgia Health District.
Doctors say the shot, which currently costs between $20 and $25, is an important way for people to protect themselves against the potent virus.
They say though flu rates are down from earlier in the season, they are still seeing a higher than average number of flu cases being presented.
