Tallahassee--Students who will be entering kindergarten or 7th grade next school year must have immunization documentation on file at school before the start of the new school year.

Parents are urged to make certain their child has received the immunizations needed for school entry/attendance and that the needed immunization documentation is on file at their child’s school.

The Florida Department of Health in Leon County (DOH-Leon) provides routine back-to-school immunizations Monday through Friday by appointment. Before the start of school in August, DOH-Leon will provide four special extended hours immunization clinics for students, high school age and younger, needing school shots.

These free clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road (32303) at the following times:

Monday, August 5
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 7
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Monday, August 12
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 14
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Appointments are needed for these four special clinics. To schedule an appointment, or for more information, please call the DOH-Leon Immunization Program Office, at (850) 606-8020.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
