It's almost New Year's Eve and Downtown Tallahassee will be the place to be to bring in the new year.
Administrators at Second Harvest of the Big Bend--who are organizing the celebration--say preparations for this New Year's bash are going well.
Proceeds from sponsors go to the food bank, helping those in need.
Cheryl Phoenix, Second Harvest of the Big Bend Executive Director, said, "It feels good that we can help more people and also that the community can do that by having fun and coming out and enjoying the evening and festivities. So, it's a great way to end the year."
The celebration, with a live band, begins at 8:00 New Year's Eve at Kleman Plaza and goes until 1am.
The event is free. For more information, go to talgov.com.
