Leon County Health Department Release
Tallahassee, FL - The Leon County Health Department continues to hold flu vaccination clinics for anyone, 6 months of age and older, who needs a flu vaccination.
Flu vaccinations will be available on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed, for the dates and times listed below.
These clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road:
Saturday, November 10, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 13, 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The cost for the flu vaccine is $22. The vaccine is available at no charge for people who have Medicare Part B or Capital Health Plan (CHP). People with Medicare Part B or CHP must bring their driver's license (or other valid ID) and Medicare or CHP card. Flu vaccinations are also available free for children age 6 months - 18 years old who meet any of the following criteria:
· have no health insurance
· are Medicaid recipients
· have health insurance that does not cover immunizations
· are Native Americans or Alaskan Natives.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
