Tallahassee, FL - A local expert visited WCTV to help shed light on the effects of the federal government shutdown.
The partial shutdown happened at 12 a.m. October 1st. For the first time in 17 years, Congress failed to pass a bill to keep the government running. Now Democrats and Republicans also can't agree on what to do with the Affordable Care Act, also known as 'Obamacare'.
WCTV sat down with Florida State University law professor, Franita Tolson to discuss the effects of the shutdown.
