Tallahassee, FL - A lot of imagining is going on right now at the 'Imagine Tallahassee' meeting.
Imagine Tallahassee is a private organization created just a few months ago in order to give Tallahassee a sort of 'report card' and a development plan.
The purpose for tonight's meeting was to review the input the Tallahassee community has given during previous public meetings, and combine that with the advice private consultants have provided.
Their hope is that through this organization they will find a way to make Tallahassee a more business friendly environment-- enticing both current and future business owners.
Kim Rivers, 'Imagine Tallahassee': "We are going to start on the process of really looking at that vision statement which we are excited to release to the community at the end of August.
The next meeting will be August 19th to finalize their vision statement.
And then it will go up for public comment August 27th.
Their ultimate goal is to come up with a plan for the sales tax fund. That plan will then be given to Leon County, and it will be up to them to decide how the funds are distributed.
