Jefferson County Commission Elects First Ever Woman Chair

Jefferson County, FL - The Jefferson County Commission has a new board chair.

Commissioners during a meeting Tuesday night voted in Betsy Barfield as the chair of the board. She tells us she is the first woman in the county's history to hold the title.

Commissioner Benny Bishop was voted in as vice chairman.
