TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The John G. Riley House and the Lincoln Neighborhood Center teamed up to showcase the ideas of some young business people. Some promoted their own talents, while others showcased the different products they sell.
Precious McDonald was at the yard sale selling bows that she makes herself. "I used to love to buy bows online, and then my mom was like, this is getting crazy," Precious says. "So, I just started making them myself and then they started actually looking good, and then people wanted to buy them."
Her advice for other young entrepreneurs? "Don't give up, like, if you find something that you want to do, just keep trying."
Other booths at the yard sale included nail artists, baked goods and even handmade jewelry.
