FSU Football Coach Jimbo Fisher is making big strides off the field.
He and his wife have more to give to their foundation, thanks to law enforcement officers.
On Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:30 am, there will be a special presentation by the Executive Board of the Capital City Challenge to Jimbo and Candi Fisher on behalf of KIDZ 1st FUND. KIDZ 1st FUND raises awareness and funds in support of research to fight Fanconi anemia, a rare but serious blood disease that affects thousands of children each year.
The Capital City Challenge is an annual police motorcycle training seminar and skills competition held in the shadow of Doak Campbell Stadium. During the event, law enforcement officers from around the southeast competed by riding their law enforcement motorcycles through challenging obstacle courses. Competitors spend the day running through several courses as they compete for top honors in several categories. The event is run and hosted by the three local police motorcycle units: the Florida State University Police Department, the Tallahassee Police Department and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
